Existing Both In Heaven And Earth At The Same Time

"And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" (Eph 2:6).

“I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." (John 17:15).

There in the two verses we see that God has raised us up with Jesus and made us sit together with Him in heaven, but at the same time He has made us remain on earth. We are in heaven and on earth at the same time; we have been raised to heaven and kept on earth at the same time. This means we are existing in two places, we exist in heaven and we exist on earth, all at the same time.

How is it possible to be in two places at the same time? Well, the same way a man can do two things at the same time, and when someone is doing two things at the same time he is usually more focused on one than the other. He is more conscious of that which he is more focused on. So also are we existing in two places but we are usually more conscious of the earth and we are not aware of ourselves in heaven.

Usually when one is doing two things at the same time he is doing one with his motor skills, while he is more focused on the other. For example walking and reading, driving and having a conversation. In the example walking and driving is a motor skill, so he doesn't have to pay too much attention to it, he just focus his attention on the book he is reading or the conversation he is having.

You exist in heaven just as you are on earth, and because you are focused and more conscious of you on earth, the you in heaven is relying on motor skills, things that are inherent to its nature. However, one who is doing two things at the same time can shift his focus between the two things, he could shift his focus and consciousness from the conversation and fix it more on his driving, and then he could shift it back again to the conversion. What I am trying to say is that you can shift your focus and become more conscious of you in heaven, and you can shift it back again to earth.

Just as you are conscious of you on earth and the environment that surrounds you, you can also be conscious of you in heaven and be able to see and be aware of the environment that surround you in heaven. Now how do we shift our consciousness? Well, this is the work of the Holy Spirit, you just have to make yourself available that He might work this out in you. It is God's desire that you become awaken to yourself in heaven, if He doesn't want that He wouldn't have raised you up in Christ and made you sit now with Him in heaven.

He could have just waited till you die before raising you up to come sit with Him in heaven. But no, He is so in love with you that He just couldn't wait to have you sitting with Him, to have you in His presence in heaven. So yes, it is His desire that you become conscious of your presence with Him in heaven, and He has given His Spirit to work this out in you, to make you more conscious of yourself in heaven, and get you awaken to the heaven realm.

"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your real life is now hidden with Christ in God." (Col 3:1-3).

God is saying start focusing on the you in heaven, become conscious of it, awaken to that you in heaven, because that is the real you, your real life. You see, it is God's desire that you become awaken and He has sent His Spirit to ensure that. It's just that you are too ignorant to make yourself available and come into that fellowship with the Spirit, where he begins to work out these things in you. Yes, all that is required is to enter into that fellowship with the Holy Spirit and He would begin to build you to be able to shift easily between the two realms.

You are very conscious of the earth because you've spent all your life on earth. But the moment you begin to come to the Spirit and He begins to build you to be awaken to heaven, and then you start spending more and more time in heaven (in the spirit) you will grow more conscious and aware of heaven as you are of earth. The question is, will you be able to suspend your activities on earth, and press into heaven, and spend enough time there?
