Spirit To Spirit, Flesh to Flesh

We are spirits, we do not need earthly things in order to experience spirit. It is stupid to hold on to that mentality that you can only touch the things of the spirit through some kind of physical, earthly thing. It is like a man inside water saying to himself, "oh no, I am thirsty, I need to go out of this water and get a cup in order to drink this water". It is just stupid, you are already in the water, open your mouth and drink.

We don't know who we are, we still continue to see ourselves as flesh. We are spirits, and spirits does not need earthly things to experience spirit, it only needs earthly things when it wants to demonstrate itself in the earthly realm.

Yes, we might need earthly things to manifest spirit in the earthly realm, but we do not need earthly things to experience the things of the Spirit — that is dead man's religion, we are alive to God in the spirit.

You do not need inks, books, writings, records and other earthly things to know God. God is spirit and you already know Him by the Spirit. We read books and listen to teachings not in order to know Him, rather we do so in order to express in the flesh what we already know of Him in the spirit.

You already know it in your spirit but you want to manifest this knowledge in the flesh. The brain (head) is flesh, you want this knowledge to become a substance in your head, so that you can look with your mental eyes that which you have seen with your spirit eyes.

Let me use an illustration to explain further. An artist sees a picture in his heart, it is already there in his heart and he sees it clearly. But then he picks up his brush to pain what he sees with his heart so that he can be able to see it with his physical eyes and share it with others. When he picks up that paper he begins to express in it something that he has seen in his heart, that thing becomes manifested in that paper.

And when one who saw that picture together with the artist (probably they had the same dream and saw this thing) is presented with the painting he can say, "yes, that is what we saw". Do you know that feeling you get when you are listening to a preacher or a teacher and you say to yourself, "yes, that is it"? You are saying it because you know this thing all along but you couldn't find the words to express it.

In the spirit the knowledge is there, you have seen it with your spirit eyes, you just know that you know, but you can't express it. The knowledge have not find manifestation in your brain (in the flesh) and as such you cannot talk about it or use it. You need to manifest it if you want to use it in the earthly realm.

Most of the time when I want to write I don't know in my head what I am about to write, but I know I have seen it in the spirit, I have the knowledge in my spirit. So like an artist I pick up my pen and begin to write, trying to express what I have already seen in my spirit. And by the time I am through and I look at it with my physical eyes I am like, "beautiful, that is it". Just like an artist after he has finished painting something exactly the way he saw it in his heart.

When you read your Bible, you are not trying to get a new knowledge, you are trying to find expression of what you already know in the spirit. You want to be able to put them in words. The reason why many of us feel like we are getting some kind of knowledge when we read and listen to Christian messages is because we are not alive in the spirit.

You are not awaken in the spirit so you could not feel that you already know these things, you are not conscious of it. You are only conscious of the flesh, so it feels to you that these things are new, that you are just getting the knowledge. You are not this flesh, the knowledge that is new to this flesh is not new to you. Yes, it might be new to your flesh but you've long known them in the spirit, and if you are awaken to the spirit you will be conscious of the fact that you've known them all along.

Jesus said that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (John 3:6). We are spirits and it is sad to see many Christians dead to the spirit, we are only alive and conscious of the flesh. So dead are we, but we cannot continue this way. We need to be awaken to the Spirit, to be conscious of what we are, see, feel, and do in the spirit. We cannot continue to be so caught up and entangled with the earthly that we lose our connection to the spirit.
