"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into conformity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" (2Cor 10:5).
We are called to reign with Christ, and to reign with a strong arm.
"You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots." (Psa 2:9).
"... that one [the overcomer] 'will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery' --just as I have received authority from my Father." (Rev 2:27).
We are not called to bend to reality, but to bend reality to the will of God. When Adam sinned, death came and perverted everything. Now the sons of God has been unleashed on this perverted reality to bring into conformity this perversion to the obedience of the reality in Christ. Yes, this perverted reality would become conformed to the reality in Christ through the reign of the sons of God.
This means we are not to accept things the way they are. Rather we are to bend reality and make it conform to the reality in Christ. In Christ we know all things, we have the mind of God. Do not accept any other reality than this. Even if the reality of your life in this perverse world is telling you that, "it's a lie you don't know all things", do not accept it.
A king does not sit on his throne and accept anything that comes his way. No, he bends things to his will—that is what a king is for. In Christ you are now seated with God on the throne. You are not there to be pliable and soft, accepting anything that comes your way. No, you are there to bend things to the will of God. And the will of God is that the sons should manifest.
Yes, you tried and tried, and it seems that indeed you do not know all things. Would you accept that reality? Would you embrace the reality of this perverse world and tell yourself that, "maybe God was lying when He said I know all things and I have the mind of Christ"? Or would you begin to give an excuse for God, trying to water down his word by saying, "maybe that is not what God mean, maybe he did not mean that I really know all things and I have the mind of Christ, maybe he wasn't even referring to me, maybe he wasn't really referring to all things—as in all things"?
Oh wake up, stop being so childish, for that is not how a king behaves. Stand your ground, stand on the word of God. Stand with a strong arm and bend this reality to conform to the reality in Christ. Do not give up or give in. Keep pressing, refusing to accept any other thing as truth other than the one who is Truth (Christ). Yes, press harder and harder till the reality of your life in this perverse world begins to conform to the reality of your life in Christ. Press on till you begin to know all things indeed and manifest the mind of Christ.
Note: This post was written with the assumption that the reader already knows the below scripture very well and is pressing by the Spirit to manifest it.
"But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart." (1Cor 2:16).
"But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things." (1John 2:20).
