Library Analogy Of The Realm Of The Prophetic (5); The Peak Of Maturity

This post belongs to a series, and to understand what the series is about you should read the first post of this series. Here in this post we would answer the question, "how is a fully mature son of God supposed to look like in the realm of the prophetic?"

We know how a mature man looks like on earth. A mature man can walk on his feet, unlike a baby. A mature man is independent, all of his faculties are functional, and as such he could do things by himself. He is about to engage this physical world with all his facilities. The new man in Christ is a spiritual man born into a spiritual world.

"He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son." (Col 1:13).

We are translated into a kingdom realm. This realm is the marriage of heaven and earth, spirit and flesh. Therefore it would be immature of us if we can only engage earth/flesh with all of our faculties, and we can't engage heaven/spirit the same way. That is like a baby that can see and hear, yet can't walk. We must not remain babies, we must be mature and be able to engage both spirit and flesh with all of our faculties. And by faculties, I am referring to all of our senses; seeing, hearing, touching/feeling, smelling and tasting. Yes, we must be able to see, hear, touch, smell and taste the spirit realm the same way we do the flesh realm.

"Then in a vision I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of the heavenly realm from the presence of God, like a pleasing bride that had been prepared for her husband, adorned for her wedding." (Rev 21:1-2).

The Kingdom of God is heaven and earth married together into one body—the body of Christ, the Church, the New Jerusalem, the Holy City, the House of God. It is two realm married together, hence we are supposed to be able to engage the two realms equally. When we are fully mature into the new man that we are then we would be able to engage both realms with all of our faculties. Now, a fully mature son in the realm of the prophetic is one who is able to engage the realm of the prophetic with all of his faculties.

He is able to see visions, hear sounds in the spirit, smell things, taste, touch and feel things in the spirit. Just as we get prophetic words through visions and voices, we can also get prophetic word through a smell. One can perceive something in the spirit and through it get a message. The same way you see flashes of images and grasp the message God is trying to pass across. You can also perceive a smell or aroma and then understand what God is trying to say. Same goes with taste and touch/feel.

We can reach a point where our visions will be ones that we engage with all our senses. Yes, we would have visions were not only see images, but we also interact in this visions, touching, hearing, smelling and tasting things in the vision. So back to our library analogy. We've talked about being awakened to be able to read the books clearly and get detailed prophecies. A fully mature sons is fully awakened and is able to navigate the library at ease.

He could navigate, pick any book and go see whatever details that we wants. Sometimes I pick a person, press into the prophetic and start going through the person's life. I would get flashes of images like when the person was being given birth to. I would see the mother in the labor room, and would even see the angels that were there watching this person entering into this world. I would also get flashes of the person babyhood, how he was being feed, and his mother would carry him and play with him.

I would see when he was a child in school, when he grew up, when he got married. In fact, I would just get flashes of images of the whole of this person's life. That is likened to being able to take a person's book in that library and quickly going through all the pages in a short moment. A mature son would be able to look at anybody and tell the person things about his life, even detailed things. This is because he is able to browse through the library and the books, and search out specific details.

Imagine having to attain such level where you can look at (or think of) anybody and know the problem the person is going through, and how God intend to deal with that problem. If you are able to do that then you will be able to bring God's solution to many people's life. People would encounter God through you. It would be like Jesus' statement, "he that hath seen me hath seen the Father" (John 14:9). Anybody who meets you have encountered the omniscience God who loves them and wants to help them. For this is the work of the sons, to represent the Father in a world were God is not known
